Guangdong Paper Research Institute and Chemical Fiber Research Institute visited Special Flocking for industry-university-research exchange.

On October 15, a delegation of experts led by Chen Yajing, Party Committee Secretary of the Guangdong Paper Research Institute and Chemical Fiber Research Institute, who also serves as the Director and General Manager of their executive company, visited Special Flocking for an inspection and exchange.

Guangdong Paper Research Institute Co., Ltd., founded in 1973, is the only paper research institute in Guangdong Province. It houses provincial public laboratories, engineering technology research centers, and national and provincial testing stations. It is a "High-Tech Enterprise" that integrates scientific research, production, and testing.

Guangdong Chemical Fiber Research Institute Co., Ltd., established in 1965, is the only research institute in Guangdong Province dedicated to chemical fiber and textiles.

During the symposium, Special's Chairman Xu Dequan first expressed a warm welcome to the visiting expert team from the Provincial Paper and Chemical Fiber Research Institutes and extended his sincere gratitude for their support. He then provided a brief introduction to Special's founding background, business layout, core R&D capabilities, and future strategic plans. Emphasizing the challenges Special Flocking faces in the field of new materials, he articulated a strong expectation to establish an in-depth collaboration mechanism through this exchange. He looks forward to pooling resources, complementing each other's advantages, jointly tackling key technological challenges, and exploring new avenues for development together.

The delegation then visited Special's corporate exhibition hall, where they observed key innovative products such as premium flocking paper and flocking yarn made from new composite materials. The tour also included the 1,500㎡ R&D center on the 9th floor and the 15,000㎡ smart production base spanning floors 3 to 8. Special's remarkable achievements in the flocking sector, along with its continuous investment and breakthroughs in R&D, received unanimous recognition from the experts.

As a deep-rooted practitioner and innovation leader in the flocking industry, Special remains committed to driving technological upgrades and sustainable development. Fiber materials, being a core foundation of flocking technology, hold the key to industrial advancement through performance breakthroughs. To further expand innovative applications in flocking, Special proposes to collaborate closely with the Provincial Paper and Chemical Fiber Research Institutes—which possess advanced platforms for high-performance differentiated fiber R&D and pilot production lines for new fiber materials—in tackling technical challenges and commercializing high-performance new fiber materials. Through deepened industry-academia-research collaboration, Special aims to broaden application scenarios and achieve large-scale production of these new materials, thereby injecting fresh momentum into the sustainable development of the flocking industry.
