December 30, 2024, stands as a milestone moment destined for the annals of Special Flocking's history. With immense joy, we proudly held the grand inauguration ceremony for our new factory. On this memorable occasion, distinguished guests gathered together, including local government officials, representatives from our industry-academia-research partner universities, outstanding corporate partners, key suppliers, and the entire Special Flocking team, to witness this historic event. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and solemnity, filled throughout with an air of celebration and hope.
In its founding days, Special Flocking operated from a single cramped workshop, grappling with both capital scarcity and a talent shortage. Founder Xu Dequan led the fledgling team to meet these challenges head-on, personally involving himself in equipment fabrication and process refinement. They painstakingly took their first steps through workshop-style production, relying on manual and semi-automated processes. Those trailblazing years stand as a testament to the Special Flocking team's pioneering spirit—building something substantial starting from virtually nothing.
In 2017, the company achieved a major technological breakthrough—successfully mastering the core technology for fully automated flocking equipment. This marked a revolutionary leap for flocking processes, transitioning from traditional manufacturing to intelligent production. This milestone innovation not only dramatically enhanced production efficiency and product quality, but also decisively broke the decades-long technological monopoly held by European and American companies in the field of flocking for automotive tailgate springs. Furthermore, it established automotive tailgate spring flocking as a cornerstone of Special Flocking's core business.
Driven by continuous business expansion, deep investment in R&D, and comprehensive upgrades to production processes, Special Flocking's original facility could no longer meet the demands of its rapid growth. Strategically, the company selected a new location and established a smart production base several times larger than the old plant. This marks Special Flocking's official entry into a new era of scalable and intelligent development.
